WARPCAM®

OPERATOR-LED SPECIALTY CAMERA SYSTEM

Complex camera movement ahead? Build the shot into previs, stunt paths and schedule before the sequence is locked. Shot already not working? Add WarpCam® as a standalone camera solution without replacing the production’s Director, DoP, Action Director, Stunt Coordinator or Stunt Team.

Championing a new era of stunt coordination, Ferdi's hands-on leadership has captivated the respect and collaboration of cinematic visionaries like the Russo Brothers on "The Gray Man," showcased adaptive ingenuity with Detlef Buck on "Asphalt Gorillas," and executed articulate action poetry alongside The Chau Ngo in "The Witch Princess." Our portfolio is a testament to our revolutionary impact on action cinema.

With SlamArtist, coalesced around Ferdi's pioneering spirit, the intricacies of stunt execution are not just simplified—they're transformed into a tactical dance of innovation and storytelling. The WarpCam® doesn't just record action, it captures the pulse of the narrative, frame by exhilarating frame.

TACTICAL CINEMATICS

Tactical action ahead? Build camera, performance and physical execution as one tactical sequence before kit, locations and approvals lock. The tactical sequence is not landing? Add the tactical layer the production is missing. SlamArtist.com connects project-specific specialist authority, action design, safety and specialty-camera integration for credible military and law-enforcement action.

Ferdi has helped develop WarpCam® for close-proximity aerial cinematography, including stabilized 8K-capable FPV configurations selected for the shot. Production credits include Fast X and War 2. On Fast X, the system captured close-proximity coverage around drifting cars, expanding the action unit’s aerial camera language while keeping the camera operator outside the vehicle path.

For close-quarter battle (CQB) scenes, WarpCam® supports closer camera placement and controlled movement through confined spaces. Combined with production-specific thermal-imaging integrations, it gives filmmakers a distinct visual language for tactical sequences; every setup remains subject to the production’s safety, legal and technical requirements.

Precision Driving

VEHICLE PERFORMANCE FOR THE FRAME

Ferdi Fischer approaches Precision Driving as performance for the frame. The brief may be a slow reverse onto a precise mark, a repeatable hero-car pass, synchronised picture vehicles or dynamic action: every movement must fit the character, camera and edit.

SlamArtist connects vehicle control, preparation and Stunt Design with a practical understanding of WarpCam®. Driver and camera paths can be developed together so speed, distance and timing create the intended image—not simply the biggest manoeuvre.

OPEN PRECISION DRIVING

Fight Design

Ferdi Fischer develops character-driven fights in which choreography, performers, Stunt Design and camera work as one. SlamArtist brings script breakdown, rehearsal, stuntvis, Fight Coordinator planning and camera-aware execution into a single workflow—scalable from one confrontation to a complete action sequence.

Where it serves the story, WarpCam® can be designed into the choreography from the start.

OPEN FIGHT DESIGN

Stunt Performance

Ferdi Fischer approaches Stunt Performance as physical acting: every fight, fall and reaction must belong to the character and read clearly on camera. SlamArtist connects preparation, honest self-assessment and collaborative Stunt Design with the essential teamwork behind every take—from rehearsal and spotting to mats, resets and performance.

Where WarpCam® serves the sequence, performer and camera movement can be developed together from the start.

OPEN STUNT PERFORMANCE

Stunt Rigging / Aerial Work

Stunt Rigging turns gravity into a storytelling tool. SlamArtist combines Stunt Design, Aerial Work, a dedicated rigging team and purpose-selected equipment to create everything from subtle weight shifts and controlled drifts to pulls, rotations, descents and multi-axis performance. Performer path, wire harness, camera, wardrobe, VFX and recovery are considered as one sequence—built for the character and the frame.
