OUR STORY
What we do
SlamArtist.com scales to your production — film, series, and high-end commercials.
Bring us in for the full action package, or book only what you need:
Action Direction, Stunt Coordination, performers, WarpCam® camera systems, or equipment.
You can hire us for:
- High falls, burns, water work and aerial work
- Fights, shootouts and chase choreography (street, off-road, close quarters)
- Wire work, complex rigging and multi-level gags
- Car, motorcycle and truck stunts — stage or real roads
- Tactical action for law-enforcement, military and special forces stories
- WarpCam® operation + specialty camera moves in tight spaces
If you want the complete solution, we can run the entire action pipeline: concept + action design, stunt casting, scheduling, risk assessment, rigging, set safety, crew/vehicle management, second unit support, and on-set supervision.
If you already have departments in place, we plug in cleanly — one scene, one sequence, or the whole show.
WarpCam® action ecosystem
SlamArtist is home of the WarpCam® and Hyper WarpCam® systems, Ferdi’s proprietary camera rigs built to live in the danger zone of real stunts.
WarpCam® is a compact 8K action ecosystem that rides on poles, drones, RC cars, vehicles and handheld rigs to put the audience inside the impact zone without putting the crew there. Hyper WarpCam® adds high-speed firepower, capturing up to 5K at 600 frames per second and 4K at 800 frames per second for surgical slow motion in crashes, fights and debris shots.
The system runs on a dual-operator workflow:
- A physical operator drives the rig through traffic, fire, glass and steel.
- A remote operator frames, focuses and holds the horizon from a safe distance.
Everything is mirrored with full redundancy: two complete WarpCam® units, hot-swap parts and a full kit that travels in a single Pelican case and can be redeployed within minutes after a hit or a reset.
This is why WarpCam® shots keep ending up as trailer moments and hero beats in major studio projects, from big-scale action films to high-end campaigns.
When you hire SlamArtist, you are not renting a gadget. You are bringing in the inventor, the team that built it, and an action unit that knows how to design choreography around this tool from first sketch to final edit.
Tactical Cinematics
For stories that live in the world of special forces, police and conflict, SlamArtist runs a dedicated Tactical Cinematics unit.
Here, ex-operators, stunt performers and camera crew train and work together to deliver:
- Authentic weapons handling and small-unit tactics
- Room clearing, vehicle interdictions and urban combat
- WarpCam-driven close quarters coverage that moves with the team, not behind it
This division serves both scripted productions and high-end defense and tactical brand campaigns, turning briefings and product demos into cinematic sequences that still respect real-world procedure.
Precision driving and automotive work
Our precision drivers and vehicle team handle everything from commercial work to full franchise-level chase units.
We design and execute:
- High-speed tracking shots
- Formation driving and proximity work
- Off-road and overland sequences
- Branded action for performance and luxury manufacturers such as Porsche, Mercedes and others
WarpCam® and Hyper WarpCam® mount low, wide and close on real vehicles, including ultra-flat rigs that slide under cars at speed to capture perspectives that used to belong only to CG or sacrificial crash cams.
Training, academy and community
SlamArtist is not just a crew list; it is a long-term training ground for stunt performers, camera operators and tactical specialists.
Through workshops, internal training blocks and a growing stunt academy, up-and-coming talent learn:
- Set discipline and safety culture
- Camera awareness and action for lens
- High-risk disciplines such as falls, fire, tactical movement and precision driving
We share case studies, breakdowns and behind-the-scenes material with the wider stunt community, documenting how complex sequences are planned, tested and shot so the craft keeps moving forward.
Why producers call us
Producers, directors and agencies bring in SlamArtist when:
- The action has to carry story, not just noise
- Safety, schedule and budget sit next to each other on the same line
- The job needs one team that can design the stunt, operate the camera, direct the second unit and deliver editorially powerful footage ready for the cut
We are built for high-pressure days: fewer retakes, fast re-rigs, compact footprint and a team that can talk to actors, stunt performers, DPs and producers in the same straight language.
From a single fight in a tight room to a full-scale truck chase on a highway, SlamArtist exists to design the moment, take the hit first and bring back the shot that keeps your audience in their seat.
